Erste Hilfe: nicht auf Airbags setzen und das iPhone für Erste hilfe nutzen

Wenn einen der Film nicht an die Arbeit im Nachktw erinnert? Oder an die Vorgänge zum neuen Jahr?

Für mein Ipad aber auch für das Iphone gibt es eine Erste Hilfe Übungs Anwendungen kostet 3,99 Euro, derzeit bin ich dabei diese für ein Referat an der PH zu evaluieren. In einem Erste-Hilfe Kurs habe ich mit 19 Teilnehmern zwischen 16 – 43 Jahen (Mittelwert 28,9) Jahre eine kleine Evaluation durchgeführt. Die Teilnehmer mußten dabei die Anwendung ca 5. Min testen, während Herz-Lungen-Wiederbelebung geübt wurde und dann einen am Abend zuvor rasch zusammengeschusterten Evaluations-Bogen ausfüllen.

Pelatihan Terowongan

Di malam kamis ke sabtu di kota Freiburg ada pelatihan Terowongan. Ini menarik dan penting kalau kecelakaan di terowongan ini berbayha. Saya upload banyak foto-foto di flickr stream. Kami harus bangun jam 3:20 dan pelatihan mulai jam 3:45. Semua Palang Merah Jerman, Polisi dan pemadam kebakaran ada cukup jam 7:00. Kalau disini ada penting tidak ada macet. Kami ada banyak resultat bagus dan harus berbahas tentant situasi di minggu besok. 220 orang partisipasi. Koran Badische Zeitung berlapor (bahasa jerman) , juga.

Deutschland setzt 42 Schulen auf den Pfad der Katastrophenvorbereitung

Bengkulu, KOMPAS.com – Das Deutsche Roten Kreuzes betreibt in Zusammenarbeit mit dem PMI Bengkulu ein bahnbrechendes Katastrophenvorsorge Schulprogramm an 42 Schulen in vier Landkreisen und der Stadt Bengkulu.

„Dieses Programm läuft seit Mai 2009 und wird voraussichtlich im Oktober 2010 auslaufen. Jede Schule wird ein Standard-Verfahren für den Umgang mit Katastrophen haben“, sage der Chef des PMI Fortbildungsabteilung Vice Ellese in Bengkulu, am Sonntag (2010.08.15).

Lomba Curup

Letztes Wochenende war die große Übung in Curup. Eigentlich gar nicht in Curup dieser lieblichen sumaterischen Bergstadt, sondern in einem kleinen Dorf über dem Fluß beim Puskesmas, der Dörflichen Gesundheitsstation. Batam Youth Camp

Tomorrow we will start our overland trip back home to Bengkulu and for me its time to write a little about PMI Batam Youth Camp. For the first time its not the national headquarters of PMI but one of the regional Branches that has held this event. And for the first time its not only people from Indonesia but Red Cross from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and even we two Germans.Which felt quite weird, to represent this big Red Cross with only two people who had to be facilitator, staff, volunteer and head of delegation all the same time.

Family Kits

Yesterday we got two trucks full of family and hygiene kits. They are intended in case we have a small disaster and we need to resupply a family with the most necessary things or if people have to leave their homes and don’t have anything anymore. The family kits contain stuff to wash yourself (soap and shampoo), kitchen utensils (dishes, plates) a flashlight, candles a big bucket for washing. „Family Kits“ weiterlesen

Logistics Training

Actually I don’t want to write so much about the logistics training. Again it was intresting to see how Indonesian Red Cross does things and what they teach. In the meantime I started to have 8 hours of language training each week and this increaesed my ability to speak, so that I can at least understand the people in the office and in the bus. But for more elaboarte language such as sms, facebook comments or more specialised things like a seminar about a particular toppic its still not enough.

With the 90 hours that German Red Cross funded we were not able to to any meanigful work and how wonder, just imagine to send someone who learned 90 hours of German to a GRC Branch and expect meaningful work to be done.
